Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2025
Mydle Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) develops and publishes its own games and mobile apps. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have when you use our website, contact us, or play our games and apps.
1. Data controller
The data controller responsible for processing described in this policy is Mydle Studio, based in Istanbul, Turkey. You can reach us at hello@mydlestudio.com for any privacy-related inquiry.
2. Information we collect
Website contact form: When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, topic, and message so we can respond to your request.
Website usage: Our servers may automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and access times. We use this information to operate and secure the site.
Games and apps: Our mobile games and applications may collect gameplay progress, device identifiers, crash logs, approximate location (if you grant permission), and analytics events to improve performance and user experience. Specific data practices may vary by product and are also described in each app’s store listing where required.
App stores: Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details from those platforms.
3. How we use your information
We use collected information to respond to support and partnership requests, operate and improve our website, develop and maintain our games and apps, fix bugs, analyze usage trends, comply with legal obligations, and protect against abuse or security incidents.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Legal bases (EEA & UK visitors)
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal data based on: your consent (for example, optional contact form submissions or permissions in apps); performance of a contract or steps at your request; our legitimate interests in operating and improving our products, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing with service providers
We may share data with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting providers, email delivery services (for example, when sending contact form messages), analytics tools, and crash reporting services. These providers process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Mydle Studio, our users, or others.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers in line with applicable data protection law.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Contact form messages are retained for a reasonable period to handle your inquiry and for record-keeping. Analytics and crash data are typically retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
Residents of Turkey may exercise rights under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Residents of the EEA, UK, and other regions with similar laws may exercise applicable rights by contacting us. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Our games and apps may be suitable for various age groups. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required without appropriate authorization. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use essential cookies and similar technologies needed for basic functionality, security, and language preferences. If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
11. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
